Kingsize 02:14
There's no sign on the road ahead but I'll guide you Just turn the wheel and hit the gas when I tell you Turn the radio up, turn the radio up We'll make it through There's no sign on the road ahead but I'll guide you If we drive all night - past tomorrow We'll never make it back it's true Running out of money but we'll last a few more days No matter how fast we go we end up in the same old place With an ear to the ground and an arm around me I'll be OK Running out of money but we'll last a few more days If we drive all night - past tomorrow We'll never make it back it's true Baby keep on going and I will follow We bit off more than we can chew

The clock moves too slow is what you always said Gotta get the car home, watch the news, go to bed Looking back you can't believe where the time all went All of that nine to five adds up to what you've spent When all is said and done You thought you'd be the one Who breaks away Searching for the friends you had Wandering the streets you knew You're a stranger now Call it a dream come true Let the anchor rust under all those waves Let the ghosts all lie in a valley of graves
3.
Static (free) 03:15
If we keep repeating the lies will you believe it If don't open your eyes you'll never see it There's nothing left to buy - but you keep on selling it The well has totally run dry - but you keep on selling it Ain't nothing but static Sounds so pathetic Inside my head there's nothing but noise So you've got a brand new toy Forgot the old one pretty quick Keep telling stories that no one can believe Your agenda's about as subtle as a brick Ain't nothing but static Sounds so pathetic Inside my head there's nothing but noise

Why 03:25
Nothing lasts forever but I thought we could They say things must change but you said we never would Nothing lasts forever and now I see There's a space in closet where your things used to be If yesterday was today Could I right my wrong If yesterday was today Would you still want to leave me Nothing lasts forever but I had to try You always said I was crazy and now I guess I know why Nothing lasts forever and I hope that's true I can't wait for the day I stop thinking about you
5.
On-Air 03:26
You're on the air You can't wait to be judged Wonder what the has-been thinks of the never-was You're on the air You think that make you special We got more channels of shit than anyone knows what to do with Fifteen minutes is now twenty-three There's too much air I just can't breathe We're on the air Or maybe I justed looked in the mirror But it all looks pretty blurry to me We're on the air Displaying worthless talent And amazing amounts of mediocrity
6.
They write me a slip And I go for a ride They say I've lost my grip Gonna fix me from the inside Keep on doseing me 'Cuz I still feel something Levelize Going blank before my eyes Twice a day Keeps me within the lines
7.
Little Mouse don't you hide The world ain't so big outside Little Mouse don' you fret The world ain't run over you yet What are you afraid of Who said that you're so weak Don;t you run away Use your voice it's time to speak Little Mouse take my hand We'll go out and make some elephant dance Steal the streets with our hearts instead of our hands My wish is your command
8.
She Rises 02:37
They won't tell you the truth You get only lies Expensive haircuts and false sentiment Let's have lunch sometime But She rises Sushi bar chic every day of the week Rung over rung we climb Velvet rope on a Friday night Why are you standing in line She Rises Who needs another lost soul With a ten digit pacifier strpped to their hip So take a deep breath of stardust When that smile crosses her lips She Rises

Loss of elevation These images make no sense A life spent with our frustration We're going down over our heads Just a plain and easy mark We were boarded - Taken over Just a quiet merger in the dark We were boarded - Taken over The rats have taken all the lifeboats In no time we'll all be dead We're way off course and taking on water We're going down over our heads We were boarded - Taken over We were boarded - Taken over

about

Ghosts in the Valley Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Formed summer '09, Ghosts in the Valley have been slugging it out in dives up and down the East Coast. Their "Loud and Shouty" style comes from a steady diet of punk, hardcore and grunge. Our second album was recorded with veteran engineer Steve Albini (Nirvana, Pixies) released in Spring of 2012. Basic tracks for a 3rd were recorded but then we went on hiatus to become parents. Release TBD ... more
